The joint SmartBio and NordAqua Student Symposium 2019
The 2nd Student Symposium was held on June 12, 2019 in Turku, Finland and hosted by the young researchers of University of Turku.
In cooperation with SmartBio, the joint & annual SmartBio and NordAqua Student Symposium was initiated in 2018. The symposium offers the opportunity to a network of young researchers from members of SmartBio & NordAqua consortiums able to gather together and interact during the one-day event, where young researchers are able to improve their presentation & communication skills.
NordAqua thanks all the young researchers, Steering Committee of SmartBio & NordAqua and especially to Organising Committee for the excellent organization and execution of the symposium.

Welcome to the SmartBIO Student Symposium 2019!
We are pleased to inform that the registration & short abstract submission for the joint SmartBio and NordAqua Symposium 2019 are now open!
This event is open to only SmartBIO and NordAqua students. Please register via the registration link sent by email to our consortium members.The registration survey also includes info about the abstract submission. Please note that every PhD student is expected to be ready to give a lecture!
Our sister organization SmartBIO is the main organizer of the one-day event as last year which will be held on June 12th 2019 in Forum Marinum (Linnankatu 72), Turku, Finland.
The symposium is a one-day scientific event which gathers PhD students and early-career postdocs. The event will end with a social evening and dinner at an Archipelago villa.

The NordAqua consortium thanks to the organisers, PhD student Azfar Bajwa, Ida Mattsson and PostDoc Martina Jokel, for a fantastic job! The Symposium was productive and energetic! Welcome to the SmartBIO Student Symposium 2018!
We are pleased to inform that the abstract submission & registration for the SmartBIO Student Symposium are now open!
This event is open to only SmartBIO and NordAqua students. Please register before 15th of August 2018 via the registration link sent by email.
Our sister organization SmartBIO is the organizer of the one-day event which will be held on August 30th 2018 in Forum Marinum (Linnankatu 72), Turku, Finland.
The event will gather PhD students and early-career postdocs, and focused on the research methods aiming to share ideas and find collaborations. During the symposium, the students will have scientific speed dating, presentations by fellow-scientists and motivational talks by SoturiCoaching (https://www.soturicoaching.net/). The day will finish with a social event on Rudolfina boat, cruising in the archipelago with food and drinks (http://www.rudolfina.fi/).
